TRANSFORM8TION PROUDLY PRESENTSSecureTech Summit:
Safeguarding OT & IoT in Manufacturing and Utilities

Manufacturing and Utilities sectors are undergoing notable change, with the introduction of smart manufacturing, connected devices, increasing regulatory requirements e.g. NIS, NIS2 and an ever-evolving global threat landscape forcing organisations to take measures to address cyber risk. For Utilities this forms a significant part of the agreed deliverables under upcoming spending cycles including AMP8 & RIIO-2.

Digitalisation demands exponential growth in interconnectivity and is essential to maintain future productivity and profitability for all organisations. In Operational Technology (OT) increased connectivity is directly proportion to cyber risk. IoT/OT devices are inherently insecure lacking basic cyber security capabilities. If organisations want to realise the benefits of predictive maintenance and remote access, cyber security must be the foundation to support future technology investments.

Combine this with a Global hybrid workforce and increased reliance on public cloud, the protection of the entire Purdue model is significantly more demanding and complex.

About the Event

Join us with Regulatory officials including Rt Hon Stephen McPartland, Author of ‘McPartland review of Cybersecurity and economic growth’ to discuss the rationale behind the upcoming changes and the expected impacts to business’ in the UK and EMEA. TechUK an independent technology trade association will host a panel discussion, focused on changes in OT environments and wider sector supply chain risks.

We have presentations from a select set of specialist technology vendors and delivery partners who will highlight how an integrated ecosystem can enhance and simplify security across a converged IT/OT infrastructure. With an exponential increase in ransomware and sophisticated targeted attacks impacting OT it is critical to deliver effective protection for these increasingly connected but inherently vulnerable OT systems.
